Working Hand in Hand for a Better Society
Rural Outright Development Society (RODS), popularly known in Hindi as “Purnataya Gramin Vikas Samiti”, was founded in the year 2004 by a group of committed social workers, educators, and community leaders from different sections of society. Inspired by the Gandhian philosophy of self-reliance, participatory development, and the noble concept of Swaraj (self-rule), the founders envisioned an organization that would empower rural communities to take charge of their own development and destiny.
