pastNational Environment Awareness Campaign (NEAC) Programme
East Singhbhum District, Jharkhand
Created awareness about the causes and effects of global warming and climate change among rural communities, students, youth groups, and local stakeholders through rallies, community meetings, educational sessions, plantation drives, and restoration of local water bodies.
pastHorticulture and Timber Plantation Programme for Tribal and Scheduled Caste Communities
Mosaboni, Dumaria, and Ghatsila Blocks, East Singhbhum District, Jharkhand
Promoted sustainable livelihoods among Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste communities across 7 villages in Mosaboni, 6 in Dumaria, and 3 in Ghatsila Block. Approximately 150 acres of upland and underutilized land were developed through plantation of fruit-bearing horticultural species and timber trees, with technical guidance for beneficiary families.
pastConstruction of Deep Bore Wells in Water-Scarce Government Schools
Mosaboni Block, East Singhbhum District, Jharkhand
Addressed acute drinking water shortages by installing two deep bore wells at UMS Jamshole, Mosaboni and Primary School (PS) Terenga, Mosaboni, ensuring a reliable and sustainable source of safe drinking water for school children and staff.
